With Thanksgiving fading in our rearview mirror it is that time again to get the tree and the sack o' lights out of the garage and see if they still light up! Got a few dud bulbs as usual but we try to focus on the many that keep on sparkling after 4 years of in and out of the storage bins. I am sure it will be only a matter of days until we run over to Big Lots in need of more festive lawn decor and shinier tree toppings- but that's what I get for marring a midwest girl - she's just lousy with holiday cheer and, i got to say, it can get contagious.
